I've seen three films since I last blogged.. so I thought I'd better blog again. Although this may be slow in typing up since I'm having one or two problems with my system. X doesn't seem to like many colours anymore.. or at least.. not when I use icewm. Trying to solve it right now.. but it doesn't seem to make any sense..
The first film I saw was Twelve Monkeys. Finally. It was very cool. Bruce Willis again surprised me. He was actually very good. And it was nice to see Madeleine Stowe in something (the only other film I remember her from was Bad Girls).
Second we went to see The Last Castle at the cinema. A very good Robert Redford film. That's too good films he's done recently. I'd say that this one was better than Spy Game IMHO. I was almost in tears at the end. And the whole cast was fantastic.
Finally Serendipity. Yet another John Cussack love story. A very interesting one.. interesting in that he and the leading lady barely spent more than a quarter of the movie in the same scene. It was good. The actress was (I think) Kate Beckinsdale. I really liked it. Ok, so it's kinda been done before (I remember a film with Sandra Bullock (?) about love and destiny and stuff).. although this was done in a very interesting manner.
Anyway, that is 3 films I'd recommend if you've done seeing LOTR a million times.. which reminds me.. I really have to see that again.
