I'm beginning to regret taking on this website design that I'm doing. No, the design bit is fine, but the booking system is a little more complicated.

It's not really the booking system thats the problem. It's the integration with paypal. I think I'm going to have to use a shopping cart system to allow for the different payment options. The main issue is that you can book for multiples of one hour and there isn't a way to set the price as you create the button. I think I'll have to create different buttons for different values and then print the appropriate button depending on how many hours have been booked. It's certainly doable but not as easy as I'd hoped. I'm going to have to play with the paypal sandbox account to test it. But I'm not even at that stage yet!

Unfortunately I don't even have half the information I really need yet. I only have vague "this is how it's going to work" rather than exacts. So I'm doing as much as I can with very little info. And I'm meant to be getting the whole thing working fairly soon. It's certainly a learning experience, both from the coding and business point of view.

I'm also hard-coding quite a lot.. but I do plan on make it more dynamic as soon as I can. But that can be done after when I tweak the backend. Let's get the customer-facing pages right first.
